Finally... What Happen in This Mid Year.

Wow.. I have faced final examination in this semester. And Kempo competition (Piala Walikota 2011) has already done. Alhamdulillah, my result for both are quite good. But, there are good and bad news. The good news was I won Kempo competition in "Embu Berpasangan Kyu IV" and "Embu Beregu Kyu IV". The bad news was I failed to reach my target this semester, got triple A in all anatomy exams. Because I got AB for the 3rd exam.
Hahaha.. I could understand why I got AB, because I was not focus, then training center for Kempo competition almost every day, so I couldn't study anatomy every day, and I got small pox, hahaha.. The 3rd anatomy was about head and neck. Amazing.. Those parts are the most difficult to learn.
Honestly, I felt regret a little, but at least what happened to me was the best for me, and based on my effort to reach it. So, I could learn from my situation, that health is a big fortune..
But, my mother said that it was not too late to improve how I study in medicine school..
Soo.. Enjoy study and Kempo.. =)

My Plans in June This Year

Today is almost the middle of May. I just counting down the day of the final examinations this semester.. You know what? This June, I have a lot of things to do. The primary thing is the final examinations. then Kempo competition, and the good news is I am not only the participant but also a committee! The last important thing is I have to finish my scientific writing as the staff intern of FORISMA.
I just couldn't imagine how I manage my time effectively.. The 3rd part of Anatomy is about head and neck and all compartments inside. the 2nd part of Histology is about structures of organ systems. God, do I make a good decision?
Could I become a good doctor like dr. Oz, have an everlasting spirit like Kim Tak Goo, and have a never give up spirit like Dae Jang Geum?

Moving Forward!!!

This picture above was taken in the last day of biomedical subject. Yup, the first semester is over. Well, tomorrow I will start my new semester. It's the semester that has challenge in it, I think.. Hahahaha.. In this semester I will study about human anatomy, histology, PBL (modul+tramed), and IKM (it's about public health I think). Although I just get four subjects, but they are pretty hard, but they are so important for my steps forward. So, get ready to reach my dream and face any challenges.. Bismilahirrohmanirrohim.. =)
What I just need are studying, praying, being a good girl every day..

Tentang Baker King, Kim Tak Goo

Baker King, Kim Tak Goo masuk daftar drama Korea favoritku. Yoon Shi Yoon, pemeran Kim Tak Goo mengingatkanku pada sosok Bi Dam dalam Great Queen Seon Deok yang diperankan oleh Kim Nam Gil. Sekilas hampir sama.
Mereka hanya sekedar nama bagiku.
Kalau kalian belum menontonnya, jangan ragu untuk segera menontonnya.

This time....

Now, I am just waiting for lecture schedule, because I don't have lab activity schedule today. Hm.. I wanna tell you something, but as usual, I don't have any idea. Let's talk about what I have done for about 3 months in this campus. I have finished my job as the "Medspin" committee. Alhamdulillah, it's success!! Do you know, who is the champion?? The first winner came from Sragen Bilingual Boarding School! I really admire that school, because when I was in high school, I always met them when I followed several competitions. My first impression about them is their shirts. It's cool... Hahaha...
Okay, next about my biomedical test. I got 63.. Alhamdulillah, but unfortunately there are many of them got better than me. The best score is 73. So I have to work harder.. Keep fighting!!

Just want to show my feelings...

Wow, I haven't written new post since I became a "mahasiswa". I want to write all that I have done, my new experiences in my campus with my new friends, I have met with all great friends, what I have done during orientation program for new students during Ramadhan. But now, I don't know what I want to write in.
Since I became a new student, I haven't spoken and exercised English, I don't get an English subject. My subjects are just medical biology, medical ethics, sosio-culture, religion, problem based learning, and PKN this semester. I am just afraid if my English skill not becoming better, but worse. So, if there are some mistakes in my post, I am sorry...
Okay, just an overview of orientation program in my campus. It was pretty cool and almost the same with orientation program in my high school. So, I was not so surprised. Although I was so tired but I was happy because I met new friends in Leptospira interrogans group, the last group but not least. I found different characters that I had to face, tried to work together, helped each other and we have PK (pendamping kelompok) or endorfin. Just like their name, endorfin is a hormone in our brains that makes us relax after facing uncomfortable situation. They are Mbak Berlin, Mas Gilang and Mas Afi. They are really kind and help us how to solve the problems.
About the first meeting with lecture, felt the first experience studying in university, although I was a little confused with the schedule and the system, but now I have enjoyed studying in university. Meet with great people. Honestly, I felt afraid a little, but someone said that if you wanna be a great person, just get out from your comfort zone. And Allah has given me the chance, so just keep confidence, studying hard because I wanna be a good doctor, always feel so lucky because I have met with the great people.
Sometimes I really miss my high school friends. If I am bored, I always look at my photos with them. Wherever you are, I always pray for all of you. Just hope we are success and become the great people who love to help each other.

A Cool Movie for Us!

Have all of you watched an India movie, 3 Idiots?? I am sure most of you have already watched it. If you haven't watched it yet, I suggest you to watch. It can be a good inspiration for us, as students. After I watched it, I always think about the messages from the movie. Some of the messages from 3 Idiots:

  1. If your friend failed, you felt so sad. But, if your friend became the best, it made you felt soooo sad (sader than if your friend failed) haha..
  2. Study is not just remembering all the sentences in the text books, getting good score in every exam but actually we don't know what we have been studied. We study because we want to know something new, then we get a new knowledge that we will be used someday. Study is understanding something we don't know before.
  3. Most of us study in under pressure condition. We just focus on getting a diploma or certificate to propose a job after we graduated. Or actually we don't like much the major that we choose. It has a big effect for our score and achievement.
  4. Let's study!! Don't be afraid and don't worry to decide your own choice if you don't want to regret yourselves someday.

It's cool.. I can't wait to be a university student and use my knowledge to help other.

The Last Moment in Senior High School

It was taken when we would take photos for a year book.
It was taken in one of gas station in the Surabaya-Malang way. What did we do? Kami ditraktir Panggah karena dia ulang tahun. Awalnya hanya anak laki-laki yang diajak ke KFC di Pandaan ya? Tapi kami semua mau ikut. Akhirnya semua ikut. Thanks to Panggah and other friends who allowed us in your cars.

This photo was taken when our school had an event, carnaval. Each class had to make their own theme. I am lucky because my class teacher (wali kelas) is an art teacher. He had a brilliant idea. So, we made that boat. It was so big.. We made it by ourselves. And the shirts, too.

It was taken when we had a physical education. Look at my friends!! They are so funny. I will miss them so much..

I Still Couldn't Believe It

I remember how I was so worry about my future. I wondered what things will be happened to me. On April 13, 2010, I got the answer from Allah. Allah gave me a chance that I could enter the university I really want to. I still couldn’t believe that Allah gave me the easy way to enter school of medicine, as you know that there were a lot of students choose school of medicine as their major. Then, on April 26, 2010, I got the result of my exam and graduated sign. Thanks to Allah, I got the good score, the best score in my class, although not in my school. I am happy because I can prove my friend that although I didn’t cheat, I still got the higher score than them. I am just sad because they didn’t do the exam honestly. Allah, I don’t know what I have to say. I just can say Alhamdulillah and pay my nadzar , it is a promise to God if we get something we really want to, we have to do anything we have already promised. I just hope that I am not arrogant and always stay close with Allah.

When I Started Studying in Senior High School

In 2007, I graduated from junior high school and I had to go to senior high school. In Surabaya, there is no test to enter senior high school. We use our national final exam’s score. SMAN 5 Surabaya is the most favorite one. I really wanted to study in there. But, unfortunately my score wasn’t good enough to enter SMAN 5 Surabaya. During my depression time, Allah gave me the way. Beside the score, there was a way for students who got medals on OSN could choose senior high school. I was very thankful, because of Allah I could study in SMAN 5 Surabaya.
When I was in year 10, Allah gave me a chance to follow students exchange program. There were several tests I had to do. In the first step, there were writing and interview in English. You know, at that time, my English was still not good enough. I got excellent in writing but not good enough in interview. After interview I just felt that I couldn’t pass this step. But Allah loved me. I passed the first step and I had to do some tests in the second step. There were IQ test and like scholastic test called TPA (Tes Potensi Akademik). And “tes minat dan bakat”. In that test I had to perform my ability. I just can dance traditional dancing. So, I performed Remo dance. You know, I hadn’t dance for a long time since I was in year 5. I had to learn to dance again. Alhamdulillah I could do it. All of us were waiting for announcement day. It took a long time until I forgot about that I followed test for student exchange program. One day, I got phone call from Surabaya Government. She said that I passed the test and I would go to Perth, Australia. I had never dreamed about that, because for me at that time, going abroad was just a dream that I could never do. But Allah made it. In the same time, I failed in OSN. I couldn’t continue to the next step. I was sad, but Allah must have other beautiful plans for me. And I knew it. I could go abroad!
